I just found out the City is no longer broadcasting meetings live on YouTube.
That’s not really bad news. You can still see the meetings live on the governmental “Granicus” system. They made the change because it results in one less application running through their AV system so they are hopeful this will help when using Zoom for Public Hearings. The more applications that are running through the AV system, the more problems they seem to have.
There are instructions on each meeting’s agenda as how to access the live audio and video for the meeting – but here they are: Go to the city’s website at www.ivins.com and look at the section on the home page called “Upcoming Events”. When the meeting is live, it will reflect “In Progress” – click on the “In Progress” link to watch the meeting live.
Here are two benefits of this change. (1) On the same web page you watch the meeting from you can see the agenda and links to any additional material. (2) If you watch the meeting later, you can click on the specific agenda item you are interested in and the video and audio jump to that point in the meeting.
