Update – January 14:
I was at last night’s meeting and got a number of texts from people shortly after 7pm wondering how they could view the meeting online. Unfortunately, for the second night in a row, the City was unable to get the meeting streamed live on YouTube. I
I was thrilled when the City agreed to stream both Wednesday and Thursday’s meetings. I can’t begin to tell you how disappointed and frustrated I am that neither one happened. Staff working on this are frustrated too. They have been having constant problems with the AV equipment, sound systems, etc. in the new building.
I’m going to keep asking the City to stream all the meetings, ideally using Zoom or something similar so that people can participate in public hearings. etc.
I’m sorry I wasted some of your time last night or Wednesday night.
Update – January 12 – 9:28pm: Well, that was embarrassing. I was at the meeting tonight and watched The City Manager and Public Works Director try to get the YouTube live stream running. They fiddled and rebooted and whatever. But nothing. My apologies to everyone who tried to watch it. Sorry for misleading you. They will try to get it running for the Thursday meeting. So, if you’re willing to take another chance, tune it at 7pm here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkLKlcwf3ek
Ivins Community Meetings Will be Broadcast Live. Tonight’s and tomorrow’s meeting will be broadcast live starting at 7pm on YouTube. Unfortunately, it’s not Zoom so viewers at home will not be able to participate. But at least you can know what was discussed.
This is short notice, so please get the word out. Let your friends know.

- Is Our Wellbeing Well? The results of Utah State University’s Wellbeing Survey for Ivins are now available.
