This event, presented by Conserve Southwest Utah, brings an expert outsider’s perspective to our community’s approach to wastewater recycling and water conservation. Peter Annin will draw on his national research to compare what water-scarce districts across the country are doing with the plans being developed here in Washington County.

To ensure his presentation is tailored to our unique challenges, Peter will meet with key stakeholders, including the Washington County Water Conservancy District, Ivins City, St. George City, and the Ivins Dry Wash Study Group. He’ll also tour vital water infrastructure such as the St. George Reclamation Facility and the Quail Creek and Sand Hollow Reservoirs.

These meetings and field tours will provide him with a comprehensive understanding of our region’s water resources and plans, culminating in a presentation that promises to be both relevant and impactful.

Let’s come together to secure a sustainable water future for Washington County.
