At the June 3, 2021 City Council meeting the developers of Sentierre requested a change to the original development agreement. And what they are asking for looks good, compared to their original plan. Here is a summary:
- The two-story hotel in the original plan is gone. Now the hotel-related facilities will be spread out through the development in four separate, smaller, one-story buildings, compared to one large building.
- Now the guest suites will be low profile one-story buildings, except for four guest suites that will have a bedroom on the second floor.
- The number of homes has been reduced.
- They plan to build an underground parking structure, at their expense, putting parking out of sight as well as service and delivery vehicles out of sight.

The 2024 Ivins City General Plan was approved in November 2024. It is the primary guiding document and the principal tool to be used to create the future of Ivins. It tells the story of what Ivins was, is and ought to become through thoughtful and careful planning based on the vision, values,…
- Building Permit UpdatePDF
Singlefamily permit activity averaged just 62 homes a month in the past twelve months. By comparison, just three years ago singlefamily permits were averaging over 200 homes a month. Multifamily permit activity is another story. And the trend is also misleading. There has been very little “traditional” multifamily permit activity in Ivins in the…
